“The art of supervision requires us to refresh our own souls or spirits, whatever we wish to call this part of ourselves, in music, art, laughter, nature, meditation and joy. As supervisors this helps us refresh our vision, our hearing, our wonder and awe at the miraculous qualities our patients, clients and supervisees present.” – Hewson, 2001

CREATIVE SUPERVISION

Creative Supervision offers a safe and non-judgmental space for exploring the challenges, questions, and complexities that emerge in professional practice. Through creative and embodied processes, practitioners are invited to approach their work from new perspectives and ways of understanding that go beyond the conventional demands of their professional role.

WHO IS IT FOR?

It is designed for mental health professionals, artists, educators, students, and anyone working in relational, psychosocial, or creative fields, offering a space for reflection, professional growth and embodied inquiry.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Creative supervision does not require artistic skills or previous experience in creative expression; rather it offers a different way of exploring professional experience. All that is required is a willingness to engage with experience from a different perspective. Activating creativity, combined with supervisory dialogue, allows unconscious material to emerge into consciousness. This helps individuals develop a deeper understanding of their own reactions, illuminate invisible patterns and gain new insights into their clients´ processes.

MY APPROACH

My supervisory approach is grounded in embodied experience, drawing tools and methodologies from:

• Dance-Movement Therapy and Authentic Movement
• The FERN Model of Embodied Reflective Narration (Celine Butté)
• The Six Shape Supervision Structure (Anna Chesner)

These approaches are organically integrated with expressive arts and nature-based practices while also being carefully adapted for online environments.

I offer creative supervision sessions online, both individually and in small groups, cultivating the same quality of presence, connection, and safety regardless of the space from which you connect. Sessions are available in Greek, English, and German.

I would be delighted to explore together how this work can create a space for inspiration, reflection, and professional growth, opening up new possibilities for your practice and personal journey.
