How can movement, when emerging from the truth of the body, become a primal act of non-violent practice rooted in community and extending into a collective field of justice?
Can Authentic Movement become a place of practice for non-violence? Can it serve as a threshold where movement becomes testimony and testimony an act of care for the Self, the other, and the world?
Authentic Movement cannot offer a form that holds all the answers to violence; yet within its form questions that lead us into movement.
This workshop is addressed to individuals from the fields of art, mental health, and education.
